Do I need a GitHub account?
No. GitHub import is one way in, not the only one. It's there because it saves developers the typing. If you don't write code, pick a template, fill in your details, and publish. Same editor, same features, same result.
I'm a designer / marketer / consultant. Is this for me?
Yes. Every site can carry a gallery for your work, a services section for what you offer, testimonials for client proof, experience, a blog, and a contact form. Show campaigns, case studies, shoots, or writing; the sections aren't code-specific.
Do I need any coding skills?
Not at all. Nothing in Lopy asks you to write code. The editor is drag-and-drop, and you can change the wording, the order, and the styling of every block.
Can I connect my own domain?
Yes, on the Premium plan. Free sites live at username.lopy.site; Premium lets you point any custom domain at your site.
How does the AI generation work?
It applies to the GitHub route: we read your public profile and repositories, then use Gemini to write your bio, project descriptions, and site structure. Template sites skip generation entirely: you fill the fields yourself.
What happens if I cancel Premium?
Your account drops back to the Free plan at the end of your billing period. Your first site stays live; custom domains are disabled.
Is my website data secure?
Yes. Your data is stored in Supabase behind row-level security, so only you can edit your sites and only published sites are publicly visible.
What can I change after it's built?
Every block: the wording, the order, the styling. Lopy gives you the first version; nothing about it is locked.
